I think the County Commission should appoint an ombudsman to stand up for the community and represent its interests vis a vis Snowshoe, Thrasher Engineering, and developers in reaching a new viable lasting solution to the Sewer matter. I do not think that the present PSD nor the engineer can think broadly enough and outside of the box to encompass all the far reaching issues raised by this project. The County Commission, as Superintendent of this project, needs the help of such an ombudsman to act as a go-between between the power of government, of political interests and the power of the people and the environment.

If you are nominating George Phillips..I can't think of a better person. Someone who can make a decision without having personal interest cloud their judgments. Obviously, the PSD is NOT!.
