Wind Turbines
Here is a quote from the Pocahontas Times that hits the nail squarely on the head as far as my view of Wind Turbines: They may visit giant wind turbines once or twice for the novelty but they’re not going to be saying, ‘Lets go see the turbines in the spring…lets go see the turbines and the fall colors…lets go see the snow capped turbines…if you get my drift.’ Some will just seek out other places to take their vacations.” |

Re: Wind Turbines
Maybe a mountaintop removal site would be more likely to draw vactioners to the neighborhood -- or if that isn't scenic enough -- how about millions of oil and gas well pads and their inherent air, water and soil pollution. I'm sure people are going to be packing up and wanting to visit those locations again and again. |
