"Lite-Up"

The NRAO is leading an initiative to bring state of the art broad band internet capability to the county. The Commission is writing a letter in support of this important effort to increase our "green" infrastructure. If the county is lucky enough to get wired with broadband of this scope, we can look forward to growing many new IT jobs and to opening up many new kinds of eco-friendly industries. And, of course, it will increase the possibilities for a community college branch here beyond that wonderful first step already in place at the Snowshoe Career-Workforce Center in Marlinton.
