FREE College Prep For Success in Marlinton
New River Community College is inviting you to their FREE College Prep for Success Program at the Snowshoe Career Center in Marlinton. Open to anyone who has graduated from high school or has a GED and who wants to try out college for free!!!!!! |

This has been accomplished with the efforts and vision of many people, including myself, looking eventually to a real campus and college presence and influence in the county. This will bring great changes and opportunity for all of us. Two years ago, the County Commission helped to finance the nursing program at the high school and we again this year contributed to this "Store Front Campus" in Marlinton. I believe we can educate our way into a new future. The Snowshoe Career Center has played a very significant role in this. |

Numbers are very important to the question of viability to sustain a college as to enrollment/income/class availability etc. So help me out here and tell me what you think the need is for a college campus and the actual students who would use it. |
