Commission "Live"
Early next year, I look for the County Commission to have live broadcasts via the web of all its meetings. David Fleming, as you may know, is a computer whiz and has offered to launch the Commission web site into the twenty first century. Blogs, email, live web transmissions, posted library of reference materials and tools to keep the "reader" apace with Commission thinking on all projects and decisions. Posting of Commission minutes, letters, resolutions, appointments, boards etc. I believe the more people who participate in the decision and planning process, the better will be the result. January 09 will begin the Big Electric Tent of County government. |

Excellent way to keep community members informed, or at least give them the opportunity to view what the Commission is up to. You are correct in your reasoning, get more people involved and you'll have different options and opinions to consider in finding the best and most efficient solutions to community issues. |

WOW!! Pocahontas County moving into the 21st centuty!!! I can't wait! Now if he would only do it for Marlinton Town Council meetings I'd be a happy camper. |
